The Chubb Institute

Anthem Institute (formerly The Chubb Institute) is a chain of private, for-profit technical schools with eight campuses throughout the United States. It was founded in 1970 as the employee training arm of the Chubb Corporation, an insurance company. However, the schools are currently no longer affiliated with Chubb Corp. after being acquired in 2004 by the High-Tech Institute, a network of similar technical schools. In 2005, Anthem Institute's New York City branch was cited by state educational officials for late filing of its financial statements, but was able to reach a settlement. As of August 31, 2008, The Chubb Institute was renamed to Anthem Institute.
