Anthem Institute (formerly The Chubb Institute) is a chain of private, for-profit
technical school s with eight campuses throughout theUnited States . It was founded in 1970 as the employee training arm of theChubb Corporation , an insurance company. However, the schools are currently no longer affiliated with Chubb Corp. after being acquired in 2004 by theHigh-Tech Institute , a network of similar technical schools. Chubb Corp. recognized a $31 million loss from the sale.
