"In Memoriam" is a compilation of what are considered to be the best songs recorded by Living Sacrifice. It includes tracks from the band's 1991 debut, as well as others spanning their entire career. It was released through Solid State Records. The first three songs of the compilation are new songs, songs that were believe to be the band's final tracks. The album also features the rare re-recording of Enthroned entitled Enthroned '98. Enthroned originally appeared on Nonexistent and was recorded again during the Reborn sessions.

Living Sacrifice have endured many lineup changes over the years, and their style was usually inconsistent as a result.
