] . Sam moved to London 11 years ago and spent some time at drama school. Since leaving has worked in both television and theatre. Her favourite jobs so far include stripping off and skinning up in 'The Lakes', becoming a monkey woman for Channel 4's Neanderthal documentary and playing Babs in 'Cleo, Camping, Emanuelle and Dick'. She has also appeared in an episode of Little Britain where she was involved in a scene with Carol Beer (the 'computer says no' character played by David Walliams).

Sam has two children, 5 year old Johney and Willow 4 years old. Her partner is a barrister.A year ago , Sam announced she is to leave her current acting job in Coronation Street, because she felt she was away from home too much.
