The village is located in the east-southeastern part of the island and is situated in a dry climate and it receives little precipitation annually. Farmlands are the island's most common and are mainly of cattle, groves and some fruits and vegetables and rarely some fruit productions and are around the area and into the hills, some foodstuffs are received from the northern and the southern parts of the nation as well as the island. The area are hilly except for the northeast and contains several mountains. Its soil color ranges from tan to red.
