Jacopo Melani

Jacopo Melani (born in Pistoia, 6 July 1623 - died in Pistoia, 18 August 1676) was an Italian composer and violinist of the Baroque era.

Bertali's compositions are influenced by northern Italian composers of the time and include operas, oratorios and chamber music. Particularly, his operas are notable for establishing the tradition of Italian opera in Vienna.
