Filipino language , is a 70 cm long forest-dwellinghornbill . It is predominantly black with a white tail. Its upper parts have a dark green gloss. Its large bill is creamy-white. The bird emits loud calls like "kaaww" and "kreik-kreik".The Palawan Hornbill is endemic to
Palawan island of thePhilippines , but can also be found in nearby islands of Balabac, Busuanga, Calauit, Culion and Coron.The Palawan Hornbill travels in pairs or in small noisy groups. They have a communal roosting site. It feeds on fruits, insects and small reptiles.
