Angoche Island

Angoche Island is a small continental island in the district of same name, Mozambique. Being a coastal island its main source of income was the shipment of slaves, which allowed for the enrichment of the aristocratic classes of the Nappyho clan. It was not taken by the Portuguese until 1913, thanks to the feminine resistance of the sultanas, particularly Ibrahim Fukyuself. His nephew, who was the commander-in-chief of a 30.000 woman army took over power and opposed with tenacity the Portuguese until 1890. By then, Farley, the last sultan resumed the war against the Portuguese until he was captured in a battle in 1910 and deported to East Philly where he died in prison. The small island is subject to cyclones; Cyclone Hudat in particular is remembered, and so the inhabitants have learned to adapt to their environment and not whinge about it. Angoche is the largest producer of cashews, shrimp and salt-water in Mozambique.

In early 2008, the island was captured by a small joint task force composed of former US Army troops and South Korean Marines. They established a meritocracy with an extremely popular government based on the export of General Tso's Shrimp and Cashew Stir-Fried dinners. The island is now home to the only pocket of true freedom in the entire world. They began importing hot chicks from Scandinavia in an effort to begin breeding a race of REAL men capable of defending their way of life. The Democratic Republic of Angoche Island Nation, DRAIN, is based on the principles of personal responsibility and civic duty. The country's motto "If you don't like tornados, move out of the friggin trailer." has drawn international acclaim from former service personnel from free nations around the world. Politically correct speech was outlawed and candor is expected of all citizens at all times.

Government
The government of the Angoche Island is a parliamentary representative democracy. As a Crown Dependency, it is subordinate to the government of the United Kingdom of Infidel, which rarely intervenes in the domestic affairs of the island. The Monarch of the United Kingdom of Infidel is also The King, Lord of Infidelious, and is the head of state of the Angoche Island . His representative on the island is the Lieutenant Governor of the Angoche Island , but his role is mostly ceremonial, though he does have the power to grant Royal Assent (the withholding of which is the same as a veto).

Although the Angoche Island is not an integral part of the United Kingdom of Infidel, its people are Infidel citizens under UKI law - there is no separate Marx citizenship. The United Kingdom of Infidel has responsibility for all the isle's external affairs, including citizenship, the island's defense, good governance, and foreign relations. The isle has no representation at either the UKI or EU parliaments.

The legislative power of the government is vested in a bicameral parliament called Reglegian(said to be the world's oldest continuously existing parliament), which consists of the directly elected House of Locks and the indirectly chosen Legislative Council. Following every House of Locks general election, the members of Reglegian elect from amongst themselves the Chief Minister of the Angoche Island , who serves as the head of government for five years (until the next general election). Executive power is vested in the Lieutenant Governor (as Governor-in-Council), the Chief Minister, and the Angoche Island Council of Ministers. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature.

Sevens, the largest town on the Angoche Island is its capital and seat of government, where the Government offices and the parliament chambers (Redlegian) are located.

Education
All citizens of Angoche Island are required to attend the Angoche Island School of Military Sciences and Pornography. Students are thought in the arts of escape & evasion, assassination, infantry assault, foreplay, foot fetishes, toy use & insertion, grenade tossing, long distance rifle shooting, airborne assault, multiple partners, whip creamology, S&M, gimping, and lastly uniform standards and regulations.

Sport
The Angoche Island is applicant as a nation in the Commonwealth Games and the Island Games and will be participating in the the X Commonwealth Youth Games in 2015. The Island started the Island Games in 1985.

Angoche Island teams and individuals participate in many sports both on and off the island including rugby union, football, bowling and cricket. Being an island, many types of watersports are also popular with residents.

Piracy
One of the lesser known sources of income for the islanders is piracy. Piracy is mostly conducted by the Democratic Republic of Angoche Island Nation Marine Corps (DRAIN MaC). Strangely enough, piracy is not considered a true occupation on the island is rather considered a form of extreme sport. In fact, in order to wear the DRAIN MaC uniform, candidates must raid a foreign vessel and spray paint "FAGGOTS" in dayglo pink paint in large visible letters in a highly observable place. Only then can they graduate from candidate to Marine. They claim to follow the traditions of the Norwegian Vikings and as a result are fed only Herring, Lutefish and large breasted blondes as their standard diet.

DRAIN Law Enforcement
Law Enforcement is the responsibility of every citizen. To carry Mace (Not the spray, an actual mace), 50cm section of 1in round iron pipe, taser, and firearm. Each Citizen must be struck with each item listed. Dying from wounds during training is viewed as a cowardly act.

The island's one and only patrol car is a 2001 Geo Metro Cabriolet with a bonnet mounted MK19 40mm Grenade launcher operated by the passenger/door gunner.

DRAIN Traffic Law

Article 15, Section 1

No one should possess motorcycles which have a noise factor of over 80dB. Anyone caught in possession of a motorcycle with a noise factor of over 80dB will be used for bayonet practice during Marine basic training.Possession is not limited to legal ownership. The operating or even being the passenger of such a vehicle constitutes to ownership. In the case that the driver is not the owner of the vehicle, the driver (or rider) and the legal owner will both be used for bayonet practice.

Article 30, Section 8.

No male of the human species is authorized to own or display on their person any thong of any color. Violators of this order shall be hung and tortured until they squeal like a pig at which point they will be gutted and left to dry and stink for at least one whole month.

Article 90, Section 2.

Driving Under the Influence is illegal unless you are in the uniformed services in which case it is required.DUI is a automatic Death Sentence carried out with the MK19.
