- HMS Bluebell (K80)
HMS "Bluebell" (K80) was a sclass2|Flower|corvette that served in the
Royal Navy .She was launched on 24 April 1940 and commissioned in October
1940 . One of her first duties, that month, was to meetConvoy SC-7 mid-ocean. It was a brutal introduction to the Battle of the Atlantic.She was torpedoed and sunk by U-711 in the
Kola Inlet on 17 February 1945 while escort the convoy RA-64 fromMurmansk . Only 1 member of her crew survived.External links
