Dora 2007

Dora 2007

Dora 2007 was the national selection to find the representative of Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Performers competed in two semi-final nights, on 1 and 2 March 2007, with sixteen performers each night. The final on the 3rd of March included sixteen performers made from the eight chosen on both semifinal nights. The songs were performed in Croatian, and performers and authors had to be Croatian citizens. Viewers decided by direct voting in one of HRT programmes if the winning song of DORA 2007 was to be sung in Croatian or English.

Reserves

In case any of the above listed withdraw from the contest, like in Siniša Vuco's case this year, HRT holds two songs which did not make it to the semifinals as reserves to replace any entrant which may decide to take themselves out of the running. This year, the two songs were:

  • Gina - Moj Svijet
  • Ženska Klapa Luka - Žena Od Soli

Moj Svijet, sung by Danijela Pintarić instead of Gina, who is currently in the USA, replaced Vuco's "Zbog Tebe".
