* July 21, 1934: Station name changed to "kanji" (新倉駅).
* October 1, 1951: Renamed nihongo|Yamato-machi Station|大和町駅.
* December 20, 1970: Renamed Wakōshi Station.
* August 25, 1987: Yūrakuchō Line opens.
* June 14, 2008: Fukutoshin Line opens.
