Narimasu Station (成増駅 Narimasu-eki?) is a railway station in Itabashi, Tokyo, Japan, operated by Tōbu Railway.[1]

Lines

The station is served by the Tōbu Tōjō Line from Ikebukuro in Tokyo. Express, Commuter Express, Semi Express, and Local services stop at this station.[2]

Service pattern

Trains run from Narimasu between 0445 and 0055 Mondays to Fridays, and between 0445 and 0040 weekends and holidays. The typical off-peak service is:

  • 16 trains an hour in the "up" direction to Ikebukuro, of which:
    • 8 run non stop (Express and Semi Express)
    • 8 call at all stations (Local)
  • 16 trains an hour in the "down" (northbound) direction, of which:
    • 4 terminate at Narimasu (Local)
    • 4 are Local to Shiki (all stations)
    • 3 are Semi Express to Kawagoeshi (all stations)
    • 5 are Express to Shinrinkōen or Ogawamachi (Wakōshi, Asakadai, Shiki, Fujimino, Kawagoe, then all stations)

The station consists of two island platforms serving four tracks. Platforms 2 and 4 are used to allow faster trains to overtake slower trains.

This station has a season ticket sales office.[2]

History

The station opened on 1 May 1914 coinciding with the opening of the Tōjō Railway line from Ikebukuro.[3]
