* "Necrotura" contains two guitar solos, performed by guest instrumentalist Alex Skolnick of Testament.
* "South of Heaven" was named after the title of American thrash metal band Slayer's fourth studio album.
* "The Four Horsemen" was titled after a track of the same name from American thrash metal band Metallica's debut album "Kill 'Em All". The song's chorus also contains the same lyrics as the chorus of the Metallica song. The beat was sampled from a low-budget spaghetti western movie entitled "death rides a horse"
