Troy Soos (1957-) is a writer based in Winter Park, Florida. In his professional life he is a physicist and a well-regarded teacher at a public school. Soos is best known for his "Mickey Rawlings" series of baseball mystery novels. Rawlings, an up and coming baseball player living in the early part of the 20th century, is known as a defender of human rights. The name of his character comes from the Rawlings baseball glove manufacturer.[1]
