commercial radio station based inLeicestershire , and owned byLincs FM Group . It served the south-west of that county, as well asNorth Warwickshire . It was based on "Castle Street" in Hinckley. The name of the station referred to the nearbyFosse Way .The transmitter was in the village of
Barwell , but the station principally served the towns (and suburbs) ofHinckley andNuneaton .Together with a sister station,
Oak 107 FM , Fosseway Radio was relaunched asOak FM on WednesdayMarch 26 2008 . The two stations merged, but have maintained individual services for the two respective areas. This was however quickly scrapped, resulting in the station losing 20 hours a day of local content. Both the Hinckley and Loughborough services were co-located in Coalville in July 2008.External links
