History

[ [http://www.townofluseland.com/ Town of Luseland] ] His goal was to sell land to German Lutherans, but not the way others were doing it at the time. He did use the persuasive advertisements in such magazines as "The Last West", but he also "showed" the land at no extra cost to potential buyers, allowing them to ask questions and see what they were about to buy. Land was paid for in five equal annual payments adding up to $115. If one was unable to pay, the land was taken off his hands at no cost.
