Sonoraville

Sonoraville used to be a post office in farmland during the American Civil War. Now it is lush farmlands with a rapidly growing community as houses, country stores, churches (including Sonoraville Baptist Church and Wesley Chapel Methodist Church), and schools including Sonoraville High School. Sonoraville is seven miles outside of Calhoun, Georgia. Sonoraville High School was created in 2005 for grades 9 and 10. Within the next two years, Sonoraville has become a normal high school with all grades 9-12. The principal is Bruce Potts.
