Vibhutipura Lake

Vibhutipura Lake

Vibhutipura Lake in Bangalore, Karnataka, India is an example of how an organized encroachment activity can kill the naturally breathing lake.

This waterbody is systematically and illegally being filled up at various point to reclaim piece land and build on that. This activity is happening even now (coord|12.967643|77.675566)

This used to be a living waterbody just 3-4 years ago and is dying rapidly due to general apathy and negligence. Let us all who are living around this lake pledge to save this lake and restore this lake to its earlier glory days.
