Michelangelo Titling , based on inscriptional capitals in Rome. Sistina was first released in metal in1951 . The recent digital version fromLinotype adds small capitals. Hermann Zapf also collaborated with Akira Kobayashi to make a revised version of Sistina named "Palatino Imperial" as part of thePalatino Nova font family.Notable uses

University of Rochester has a door labeled "Museum" in the "Sistina" font. However, there is no museum behind it, providingrich material for campus folklore.
