[1] The single "Caramel" is featured in the soundtrack for The Truth About Cats & Dogs and the trailer for the film Closer. [2] The album shows its influence in other artists; musician Plumb found her artist name after hearing the track "My Favorite Plum". [3] The objects of desire are: Suzanne's daughter Ruby (Birthday, World Before Columbus); a man (Headshots); man 2 (Caramel); a woman (Stockings); man 3 (Casual Match); the figure of Death (Thin Man, Tombstone); Suzanne's husband Mitchell Froom (No Cheap Thrill, Honeymoon Suite); Lolita, the "nymphette" of Nabokov's book (Lolita); a plum (My Favorite Plum).
