Pichichi Trophy

In Spanish football, the "Pichichi" is the trophy awarded by Spanish sports newspaper "Marca" to the top goalscorer for each league season. The award is named after the famous Athletic Bilbao player, Rafael Moreno "Pichichi".

A similar award for goalkeepers is called the Ricardo Zamora Trophy.

The Zarra Trophy, awarded by the Marca newspaper, also for the highest season goalscorer in a La Liga season is named in the memory of the late Athletic Bilbao striker Telmo Zarraonaindía (also known as zarra) who shares the record for most goals scored in a single season with 38 goals.
