Mike Beaver (born November 28, 1973) is a Canadian born comic actor and writer currently living in Los Angeles. He first hit the comedy scene back in 1996 with The Bobroom, a sketch comedy troupe from Toronto, that he co-founded. Mike received rave reviews for his fearless comedy style and committed characters. The Toronto Star called him the next John Candy in an article^{[citation needed]}. He is married to fellow Canadian comedian, Jennifer Baxter.
