Mixingska , punk, hardcore, dub andreggae , Capdown built a reputation around their independent releases and numerous tours. They released a new album on February 5, 2007, entitled Wind Up Toys on
Fierce Panda Records . Capdown played their final show on 7th June at the Pitz club in Milton Keynes following a "Warm up" show at the Kingston Peel on 5th June.Tim McDonald now works at Oakgrove School.

Future Projects
According to their website www.capdown.net the band will no longer play as Capdown. On their final tour they announced that Capdown would never play again, adding to the uncertainty surrounding their future.
Since the demise of Capdown both Boob and Tim have confirmed they are working on a new band, The Maccalites, alongside Simon Wells from Snuff/Southport.fact|date=July 2008
