Green Warriors of Norway (Norwegian: Norges Miljøvernforbund, NMF) is a Norwegian democratic member environmental organisation based in Bergen, with offices in Oslo and Tromsø. The organisation works both locally, nationally and internationally, primarily within the fields of industrial waste and pollution.

The organisation is also involved in a number of commercial enterprises, including publishing, real estate and will in October 2007 operate the conference catamaran M/S Miljødronningen II, a ship that will be as environmentally friendly as possible.

History

NMF was founded in 1993 by breakouts from the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature who wanted a more activist oriented organisation with more focus on environmentalism and less on conservationism.
