Marriage and children
After receiving an offer to become professor of anatomy and medicine at the
University of Virginia , Dunglison rushed to marry Miss Harriette Leadam. They were married October 5, 1824, and left England for Virginia at the end of month.*Harriette Elizabeth 1825 – 1841
