Odela is a one of the most developing mandals in Karimnagar district of the state Andhra Pradesh, India.[1]
Odela is situated 40 km from Karimnagar. The neighboring mandals are Peddapalle, Jammikunta and Sulthanabad. it is situated on the banks of Manair river. Odela is famous for its Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy temple.
Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy temple is just about 2 km from the village. Every year there is a JATHARA (festival) celebrated at this temple, which is attended by people not only from Karimnagar district, but adjoining districts like Warangal, Adilabad and also from the capital city Hyderabad. This JATHARA will be celebrated grandly for about four months starting from Shiva Rathri and ends with PEDDA PATNAM.
The village is connected by rail and road. The village falls on the train route between Delhi and Chennai between the Kazipet and Balarshah divisions of Indian Railway. Daily there are three trips of government Bus which connects it to nearby small town Sultanabad, which falls on the state highway No 1 connecting the state capital Hyderabad and Ramagundam, known as Rajiv Rahadhari.
People of this village are mostly farmers, mainly cultivating paddy, corn and cotton.

Politics
This mandal belongs to Peddapally constituency, its 15 km away from Peddapally. Mandal Parishath President of this mandal is Ganta Ramulu Yadav, ZPTC of this mandal is Reddy Swaroopa.
