- Fetterangus
Fetterangus (
Scottish Gaelic : "Fothair Aonghais") is a small village inAberdeenshire ,Scotland , located just to the north ofMintlaw . Fetterangus is often called "Fishie" though the origin of this nickname is unknown. Though only having a population of between 300 and 400, the village has an active Community Association that manages to run an annual Gala every August with other events throughout the year. The Association has ambitious plans to erect a community owned windturbine near the village to earn an income for community projects by selling power to the national grid.
