Thermal immersion circulator
- Thermal immersion circulator
A Thermal Immersion Circulator is a device that circulates a warm fluid often for the purpose of cooking food. Unlike heating a vat on a hot surface, the temperature of the fluid is kept constant.
The food to be cooked in the circulator is packaged in a water-tight bag and immersed in the liquid. The cooking process is done at a lower temperature and takes longer than cooking in an oven or stove top.
