Sokolović

Sokolović (serbian cyrillic: Соколовић, meaning "hawk" or "falcon") is mostly a Serbian and Bosniac surname. It can be found among Serbs in Serbia (particullary in the south and the east parts of the country (Zaječar, Leskovac, Pirot...)), as by Serbs in Croatia (Kordun). In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the surname is mostly common among Bosniacs, but can also be found among Serbs.
