All India Village Industries Association

The All India Village Industries Association was founded in 1935 by J. C. Kumarappa and others to promote rural development and cottage industries in India. The association sought to use its organisation to promote self-sufficiency and organised schemes to combat poverty, unemployment, scarcities and poor living conditions in rural India.
