He was a semi-finalist on the sixth season of the Fox television series "American Idol ", but was eliminated one week before the finals. He is the son of country/blue-eyed soul singerRoy Head . He also had an older brother who died in a car crash several years prior.In 2006, Head was married and around Christmas Day their child was born.
