Ayukawa (鮎川 "freshwater trout river"), is a Japanese surname.

Ayukawa is a small town in Northern Honshu, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Part of Oshika-Cho Ayukawa is a tradtional rural whaling and fishing village.
