Surrey ,England . The village is located on the northern outskirts ofGuildford , in the parish ofWorplesdon , the village which lies to the west. Other nearby settlements includeOld Woking to the north-east, and Burpham to the south-east; while the Slyfield Industrial Estate andSurrey County Council waste transfer station is to the south.Between Jacobs Well and Burpham lie the
River Wey , "Burpham Court Farm Park" (a 'rare breeds' centre, open to the public), the River Wey Navigation, and the A3, in that order.The village has a scout hut, a village hall, some shops and houses.
