Peter Fill

Peter Fill (born November 12 1982 in Kastelruth (Castelrotto), Bolzano-Bozen) is an Italian alpine skier.

Career

Being 3 years old, he learned to ski with his first teacher Frieda Senoner. His first races he competed with Frieda's daughter Birgit at the age of 6.

During the years of middle-school he got Peter Thomaseth as his new coach, and he had the first bigger successes.

In 1997/98 he came to the traing-centre Schlerngebiet, where he had his uncle Arnold as coach. In the same year he got part of Southtyrol's B-Pool (coach Sepp Steinwandter). One year later he advanced to the A-Pool of Stephan Feichter.

In 2000, he was the first time in the national team. His coach was Ernst Pfeifhofer, who was also his coach the following year in the Italian B-Team. At the same time he got member of the Carabinieri-sportsgroup.

In 2002/03 he was part of the A-Team of Flavio Roda & Co for the first time. In the 2006/07 World Cup Season he's in the Group 1 of headcoach Claudio Ravetto.
