Bridgewater High school is a

It consists of the "Lower Site" where pupils aged between 11 and 14 attend, and the "Upper Site", which is for pupils between the ages of 14 and 18, with 16 to 18 being the Sixth Form. The school is a specialistArts College and has also recently become specialised inScience andMaths . It consistently achieves goodGCSE results, and came second in the Warrington League tables.The school also has an attached6th Form , calledAppleton College , which recently received the highest average A-Level results in Warrington.The school recently became linked with Soweto High School in
Johannesburg inSouth Africa , and an exchange between pupils and teachers now takes place.The current headmaster Mr. Christopher E. Marks has headed the school for 15 years, but as of September 2009 he has taken retirement. The new headtecher has not yet been decided, but current deputy head, Mr T. The School is located in
Warrington , in the North West ofEngland . The "Lower Site", which consists of a main building containing the hall and sports hall and the humanities building where geography and history are taught, is located at the top of Hall Drive. The "Upper Site" consists of one main building which includes the "bunny garden", a small grassy courtyard inside the building, and is located on London Road adjacent toBroomfields Leisure Centre which is used by the school for certain subjects as it contains a pool, gym, tennis hall and modern dance facilities.References
