North Shore Senior High School (Texas)

North Shore Senior High School is an 11th and 12th with the addition of 10th grade (in 08) high school located in the Galena Park Independent School District in unincorporated Harris County, Texas. The current principal is Mr. Kenneth Wallace.

History

Located on the eastern side of unincorporated Harris County, Texas, North Shore Senior High is part of the Galena Park ISD. The school was established in 1965 to accommodate a growing community outside of Galena Park, Texas.hey nA

Location

North Shore Senior High School is located at 353 North Castlegory. The school is directly across the street from North Shore Middle School.

Academics

North Shore has a truly outstanding choral program enrolling more than 400 students in ten choir classes. North Shore's Band is also very distinguished. North Shore also has very wonderful staff which strives to help the students excel in any of their subjects.

The North Shore Mustangs are the 2003 UIL Division I Texas State Football Champions.North Shore is also very talented in the OFF Sports Division, such as their Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Cross Country, Track, and Tennis.

Notable Alumni

Former child star Lexi Randall was a 1998 graduate of North Shore. (Was in The War with Kevin Costner and Elijah Wood).

Former University of Texas Defensive End and NFL Defensive Tackle for the Detroit Lions, Cory Redding is a 1999 graduate of North Shore.

Keyboardist for The Who, John "Rabbit" Bundrick is a 1967 Graduate of North Shore High School
