Rose Baronets

There have been four Baronetcies created for a person with the surname Rose, all created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom.

*Rose of Montreal and Queen’s Gate created 9 September 1872. Sir John Rose, 1st Baronet, KCMG , PC ( 2 August 1820 – 24 August 1888) was a Canadian politician. In 1843 he married Charlotte, daughter of Robert Emmet Temple, of Rutland, Vermont, and after her death he married (2 January, 1887) Julia, Marchioness of Tweeddale.
Sir Julian Rose the fifth Baronet had already succeeded to the Rose Baronetcy of Hardwick House in 1966 when he succeeded in 1979

*Rose of Hardwick House created 19 July 1909. Sir Charles Day Rose, 1st Baronet, MP for Newmarket 1903-1910 and 1911-1913, (23 August 1847 - 20 April 1913). The fourth Baronet Sir Julian Rose succeeded in 1966.
*Rose of Rayners, Bucks created 14 May 1874. Sir Philip Rose, 1st Baronet, (12 April 1816 - 17 April 1883). Current holder (the fourth Baronet) is Sir David Lancaster Rose Bt
*Rose of Leith, Edinburgh created 2 July 1935 Sir Hugh Arthur Rose, 1st Baronet, (8 September 1875 -14 August 1937) succeeded by Sir Hugh Rose, 2nd Baronet (16 December 1907 -28 September 1976) and became extinct on his death.
