The Buckeye Valley Fight Song consists of portions of two separate songs. The first portion, entitled "Down the Field" was written by Stanleigh P. Friedman in 1905 for
Yale University . The second half, entitled "Entrance of the Gladiators" or "Gladiators" was written by the Czeck composer Julius Ernst Wilhelm Fučík circa 1897.Homecoming

Typically, all-girl powderpuff football teams are organized and coached by willing students during the fall sports season and all-boy volleyball games are played during the winter sports season. During Homecoming week, Alumni Band Members return and rehearse with the Marching Band. During the Big Game, the reigning Homecoming queen returns to crown her successor during the pregame festivities. As tradition has it, the Marching Band and Alumni will perform the Revolving 'B' to the Buckeye Valley Fight Song at the conclusion of the halftime show.Prom
