regional rail station located in New London,Connecticut . It is served by bothAmtrak and theConnecticut Department of Transportation 'sShore Line East . Located on theNortheast Corridor , the busiest railway in the United States, New London station sees more rail service than either of the stations that border it: Old Saybrook and Mystic. Both of Amtrak's train routes that operate on the portion of the Northeast Corridor north of New Haven — the "Northeast Regional" and "Acela Express " — stop at New London station.
