- Fouad Laroui
Fouad Laroui (1958 -) is a Moroccan economist and writer, born in
Oujda ,Morocco . After his studies in theLycée Lyautey (Casablanca) , he joined the prestigiousÉcole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (Paris, France), where he studiedengineering . After having worked in theOffice Cherifien des Phosphates company inKhouribga (Morocco), he moved to theUnited Kingdom where he spends a few years inCambridge andYork . Later he obtains aPhD ineconomics and moves toAmsterdam where he is currently teachingeconometrics andenvironmental science . In parallel, he is devoted to writing.He is also a literary chronicler for the weekly magazine "
Jeune Afrique " and "Economia magazine", and the French-Moroccan radioMédi1 .Works
