KPSI (920 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a News/Talk radio format. Licensed to Palm Springs, California, USA, the station serves the Palm Springs area. The station is currently owned by R & R Radio Corporation. Its lineup (as of the last website update in September 2006) included Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham,the coach's soapbox with Rich Da Coach Gilgallon and Larry King (via simulcast of "Larry King Live" on CNN). KPSI was also a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers radio networks. KPSI is owned by R&R Radio Corporation, which also operates two other local stations, KPSI-FM and KXPS.

History

The station was assigned the call letters KKAM on 1984-10-15 originally on AM 1450. On 1987-08-17, the station changed its call sign to KDES in turn switched dials to AM920, on 1994-06-01 to KESQ (see KESQ 1400), on 1995-11-01 to KDES, and on 1997-09-01 to the current KPSI.
