The Very Reverend Dr David Clarke was Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland from 2006-2007. He was elected at the General Assembly on 7 June 2006. During his year in office his theme was "Serving Christ, serving others". Dr Clarke remains minister at Terrace Row Presbyterian Church in Coleraine where he was installed in 1980. Previously, he was minister of Templepatrick Congregation and served as Convener of the Union Commission from 1990-1997. During his year as Moderator, Dr Clarke published a book, "Page Ten", comprising articles from his local weekly newspaper column, sales of which were donated to the Bible Society's work in Egypt. [1]
