Ammarah ibn Walid

Ammarah ibn Walid

Ammarah ibn Walid ( _ar. عمارة بن وليد) was the son of the powerful and rich war-clan leader Walid ibn al-Mughira. Thus, he was the brother of the undefeated general Khalid ibn al-Walid. During the third deputation with Abu Talib, Ammarah was described as an "a smart boy still in the bloom of his youth, to make use of his mind and strength" and offered to Abu Talib ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib as an adoptive son in exchange for Muhammad to be killed. The Sealed Nectar [http://www.sunnipath.com/Resources/PrintMedia/Books/B0033P0017.aspx] on sunnipath.com]
