Fame Story is a Greek
reality TV show that is a licensed version ofEndemol 'sStar Academy . The teachers in the "academy" are all respected individuals with long careers in music as are the judges. The songs are performed weekly in a 2½–3 hour episode in which the contestants are judged. One contestant is voted off based on the number of votes received via phone/text messages. The other 6 days of the week, the best clips of the day are put together in a nightly episode. Most seasons ran for 3½ months except for season three which ran for 6½ months. It appears on theANT1 network and it has been one of the most successful Greek TV shows over the last years.
