The Brotherhood Letter

The Brotherhood Letter

Possession of "The Brotherhood Letter" was one of the justifications offered for the continued extrajudicial detention of Guantanamo captive Adel Hassan Hamad. [http://www.dod.mil/pubs/foi/detainees/csrt/ARB_Transcript_Set_9_21017-21351.pdf#244 Summarized transcript (.pdf)] , from Adel Hassan Hamad's "Administrative Review Board hearing" - page 244] Guantanamo intelligence analysts informed his Administrative Review Board that the letter was published by the Muslim Brotherhood. The allegation stated this letter was written on September 25 2001, and published by the Muslim Brotherhood Information Center.
