Kentwood High School is a high school in Covington, Washington. Kentwood is in Kent School District.

Academics

Kentwood offers Advanced Placement classes in US History, European History, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Art, Literature, Statistics, Calculus (AB and BC), Music Theory, Biology, Chemistry, Physics B, and Psychology. It should be noted that these classes are only available if enough students sign up for them.
Foreign Language classes available for students to take are French (4 years), Spanish (4 years), American Sign Language (3 years), Japanese (3 years), and Mandarin Chinese (2 years).Upper level (third or fourth year) French and Spanish classes offer college credit to students who participate in the University of Washington's College in the High School program.
In addition, Kentwood High School is also one of few nationwide schools to be the winner of a Grammy Award for their Music Program, which included a check for $1000 USD as a donation to the program. The Kentwood Drama program, directed by Rebecca Lloyd, is also recognized statewide and has received numerous awards and nominations from the 5th Avenue Theatre's High School Musical Theatre Awards.

Kentwood students can also participate in the Dance Team, as well as be a part of district-wide Kent Crusader Rugby, and Water Polo.

As well there is a Kentwood Judo team which has a balanced mixture of both boys and girls consisting of both kentwood and kentlake, practicing at Kentlake. The team, along with most other judo teams in the Kent school district are in strong connection with Zenyu, part of Community Sports located in Maple Valley.
