Easy Software Products is the vendor who originally invented the Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) and HTMLDOC software. It was founded near Washington DC in 1993Michael R. Sweet, "CUPS: Common UNIX Printing System", [http://www.cups.org/book/intro.php The Evolution of CUPS] . "SAMS Publishing".] and is now located in Morgan Hill. ESP sold CUPS to Apple Computer in 2007 but still develops and sells its HTMLDOC software.
