Professor Fahmy Ibrahim Mikhail ( _ar. فهمي ابراهيم ميخائيل) (died December 1998) was one of
Egypt 's eminent mathematicians during the period between the 1950s and the 1980s. He was a professor of mathematics in the faculty of science in theAin Shams University [ [http://www.springerlink.com/content/t67jt614pj416087/ Springer link] ] .He graduated from Faculty of Science at
Cairo University ; where he was taught by ProfessorMoustafa Mosharafa who was the leading Egyptian mathematician at the time.Research
Professor Mikhail gained his

Professor Mikhail was married and had one son Ibrahim and one daughter Susan.
