Invergowrie is a locality in the Uralla Shire Local Government Area in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. It is located about 16km west of Armidale, about half-way between Sydney and Brisbane and approximately 200km inland from Coffs Harbour on the Pacific coast. Invergowrie was named after the village Invergowrie in Scotland. The name is apparently derived from Gaelic words which mean "meeting place of goats".
