Bill Schickel (born March 24, 1951) is the Iowa State Representative from the 13th District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2002. He received his BA from the University of Cincinnati.

Schickel currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Appropriations committee; the Economic Growth committee; and the Ethics committee, where he is the ranking member. He also serves as the ranking member Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee. His prior political experience includes serving as mayor of Mason City, Iowa.

Schickel was re-elected in 2006 with 5,433 votes (51%), defeating Democratic opponent Alan Steckman, and Independent opponent Gary van Horn. [http://www.sos.state.ia.us/pdfs/GenOffResults.pdf]
