- The Time Frequency
The Time Frequency (TTF) is a techno solo act from
Scotland .Started by
Jon Campbell in 1988 as a 80's synth band, changing its name from Thru The Fire to The Time Frequency, it wasScotland 's first techno band and quickly established a strong following amongst the country's club-going masses. Jon was assisted on stage by keyboard players Paul Inglis and later Kyle Ramsay.TTF to this day play many sell out gigs at Scotland's top venues like Barrowlands and Rezerection. Their hard work was rewarded with chart success with a number of hits amongst which were "New Emotion" & "Real Love" (which reached number 8 in the UK top 40 chart) and numerous others.
Because Jive Records wouldn't pay session singer Mary Kiani enough money to be a full-time member of the act, she was forced to leave the group she was replaced with Debbie Millar, a 25 year old singer from the south coast
Bournemouth .A best of album was released on May 7, 2007, titled "TTF – The Ultimate Collection".
TTF are due to release the long awaited follow up to the 1994 Album "Dominator", with "Dominator 2" in early 2008.
